The SEAS Generic Property ontology

The SEAS Generic Property ontology defines the different categories of Generic Properties we can met in different domains. Such as Temperature, Speed, length…. These properties are dependants entities: they are inherent in some entity and that cannot exist without this entity.

Diameter Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/DiameterEvaluation

The class of evaluation for diameter properties

Wind Speed Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/DiameterProperty

In geometry, a diameter of a circle is any straight line segment that passes through the center of the circle and whose endpoints lie on the circle. It can also be defined as the longest chord of the circle. Both definitions are also valid for the diameter of a sphere. In more modern usage, the length of a diameter is also called the diameter. In this sense one speaks of the diameter rather than a diameter (which refers to the line itself), because all diameters of a circle or sphere have the same length, this being twice the radius r.(source:wikipedia)

Direction Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/DirectionEvaluation

The class of evaluation for direction properties

Direction Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/DirectionProperty

Direction is the information vested in the relative position of a destination (or target) point with respect to a starting point, absent the distance information. Directions may be either relative to some indicated reference or absolute according to some previously agreed upon frame of reference.(source:wikipedia)

Length Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/LengthEvaluation

The class of evaluation for length properties

Length Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/LengthProperty

length is the most extended dimension of an object.[1] In the International System of Quantities, length is any quantity with dimension distance. In other contexts “length” is the measured dimension of an object..(source:wikipedia)

Noise Level Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/NoiseLevelEvaluation

The class of evaluation for noise level properties

Noise Level Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/NoiseLevelProperty

The level of noise Property is a property which is inherent in noise.

Shape Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/ShapeEvaluation

The class of evaluation for shape properties

Shape Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/ShapeProperty

A shape is the form of an object or its external boundary, outline, or external surface, as opposed to other properties such as color, texture, or material composition.(source:wikipedia)

Speed Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/SpeedEvaluation

The class of evaluation for speed properties

Speed Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/SpeedProperty

the speed of an object is the magnitude of its velocity (the rate of change of its position); it is thus a scalar quantity. The average speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance t ravelled by the object divided by the duration of the interval;.(source:wikipedia)

Temperature Evaluation

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/TemperatureEvaluation

The class of evaluation for temperature properties

Temperature Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/TemperatureProperty

A temperature is an objective comparative measurement of hot or cold. It is measured by a thermometer. Several scales and units exist for measuring temperature, the most common being Celsius (denoted °C; formerly called centigrade), Fahrenheit (denoted °F), and, especially in science, Kelvin (denoted K).(source:wikipedia)

Wind Direction Evaluation

The class of evaluation for wind direction properties

Wind Direction Property

IRI: https://w3id.org/seas/WindDirectionProperty

Wind direction is reported by the direction from which it originates. For example, a northerly wind blows from the north to the south. Wind direction is usually reported in cardinal directions or in azimuth degrees. For example, a wind coming from the south is given as 180 degrees; one from the east is 90 degrees.(source:wikipedia)
